OneShot defaults are a Max plan feature

Like everything else under Connect, OneShot defaults are Max-only. If you don't see Connect in your sidebar, upgrade from your billing page to unlock it. There's no separate per-feature unlock.

Channels are workspace-level, not personal

Anyone in your workspace creating MCP videos uses the same connected social channels. This is intentional — consistent brand publishing across the team — but it means you should agree on which accounts to link before flipping toggles on.

Autoshare off = human-in-the-loop

Turn autoshare off when client work, compliance, or quality reviews need a human pass before videos go live. The videos still render and land in your library — they just wait for you to publish manually instead of going out automatically.

Clone your voice once, use it everywhere

The banner inside the voice picker offers voice cloning. Set the clone as your default and every MCP-generated OneShot speaks in your voice. One-time setup, every-video payoff.

Defaults are still overrideable per video

The settings here are starting points, not locks. When MCP creates a video, you can still override the voice, portrait, captions, or channels for that specific video in BIGVU before publishing. Defaults handle the 80% case; overrides handle the rest.

Set defaults before you start using MCP daily

The whole point of OneShot defaults is to cut MCP video creation to minimum effort. Lock them in once before you start prompting Claude or ChatGPT for videos, and your assistant can finish a full project from a single prompt.

My MCP video didn't auto-post — why?

Two common causes: autoshare is off (check the toggle), or the social account's auth has expired (BIGVU shows a re-auth banner on the workspace's channel settings). Reconnect the channel and the next MCP video will publish.
