MCP is a Max plan feature

Connect — including MCP, Webhooks, OneShot defaults, and Email Settings — is only available on the Max plan. If you don't see Connect in your sidebar, your workspace isn't on Max yet. Upgrade from your billing page to unlock it.

Set OneShot defaults first

With OneShot defaults configured (voice, portrait, captions, channels), every MCP video runs end-to-end without you picking anything mid-flow. Just ask for a topic — your assistant handles the rest using your saved defaults.

Be specific in your requests

"Make a 30-second video announcing our spring sale, casual tone, post to LinkedIn" lands better than "make me a video." Your assistant fills in anything you don't specify from your OneShot defaults.

Three KPIs tell you what's happening

The Connect dashboard tracks videos this month, webhook deliveries, and MCP requests at a glance. Skim them to see whether your AI workflows are firing as expected; dig into the activity table when you need detail.

Which plan do I need?

MCP, webhooks, OneShot defaults, and Email Settings are all Max-only features. If you're on Pro, Starter, or Free, you'll need to upgrade. There's no per-feature unlock — Connect is a single Max-tier capability.

My assistant says it can't reach BIGVU

First check that you're signed in to BIGVU; tokens can go stale. If that's fine, reconnect — remove the connector from Claude/ChatGPT, copy a fresh URL from BIGVU, and re-add it. 90% of MCP issues are stale tokens.

Can my teammates use the MCP connection?

Yes — the MCP connection is workspace-level. Once one person on the team sets it up, every teammate in the workspace can see and use it from their own AI assistant. One setup, whole team benefits.
